What we offer

The role of our personal trainers is to firstly, have a chat about what you want to achieve, and then implement a plan to suit you.

Our most popular option for most people is our 1-1 training sessions, usually at one of our studios in Northampton. We can also come to your home if you would prefer to start this way. Our 1-1 sessions include a range of different types of training. We can offer help to those who have not done any exercise for sometime to those who want to push their fitness to another level. If you are looking to tone up, develop muscle strength and increase flexibility, we can do this.

Our personal trainers work closely with our qualified nutritionist who can develop meal plans and help you with your energy intake needed for your training sessions.

Also, if you are recovering from an illness then we are fully qualified to help with your rehabilitation programme. We are very experienced and qualified in this area and can really help you with your recovery.

In addition to this, we are very proud to support Fitness Without Boundaries with their fitness and well being programmes. Our instructors have over 10 years experience of helping disabled people with their physical therapy and wellness.

Your first session with a personal trainer in Northampton

The first thing we will talk about, will be what you want to achieve. For some it will be weight loss, for others it might be muscle gain. Everyone is different in what they want to do.

I would say that most of our clients want to improve themselves in some way. So much can be achieved by making small changes. We can give you advice on the best way to get you moving and make a plan to get you where you want to be.

Our sessions

At our fitness studio, we can offer a range of different training options. Or, we can come to your home to exercise with you in your own environment if you feel more comfortable there.

Most of our 1-1 programmes include several key elements, one of which is cardio training. This type of work out can improve your cardiovascular health. It can also help with fat loss if that’s your goal, and just improve most aspects of your life generally. We can also focus on strength training which is also key. We can use free weights to help your tone and strengthen muscle areas. Also, if you’re visiting the studio, we can use some of the machines that can help develop tone and improve muscle function.

We also have a nutritionist that can provide advice on certain types of diet, and general advice too. If like most people, you just don’t know what to eat, or are confused about what foods you need more or less of, then we can help with that.

We also offer HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) sessions which are great for weight loss. This exercise is a form of interval training, which is a cardiovascular exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less intense recovery periods. Most people need to guidance of a personal trainer to do these exercises properly to start with. Generally, there is no universal HIIT session duration; these intense workouts typically last under 30 minutes, with times varying based on your current fitness level.

Mental health and exercise

The number of people dealing with anxiety, depression and other mental health illnesses has reached epic proportions. For some people, the benefit of exercise and dietary advice can have a really big positive impact on mental health.
